Haiku

Rating: 5.0

The treacherous power of your eyes,
gazing firmly yet kindly into mine
amidst the mist that grows thicker
and blend with the odour of the pines.

Ciao Alessandro, nice to read poems by an Italian young poet on PoemHunter.com - WELCOME! - but why do you call your poem 'haiku'?

because I'm very fond of that form of poetry; I know someone usually thinks of Haikus as short three-liners but I've seen many four-liners haikus. maybe I should have named it different haiku.
