Haiku 5 Poem by Mark Heathcote

Haiku 5

spontaneity
a nightingale's songs answered
A spark of light

objectivity
a mirroring refection
the river sweeps past

silence without sound
feathers falling to the ground
tranquillity

apologetic
trees - spires bow leafless - nodding
a green torch is lit

encapsulated
fireworks burst unchecked again
vibrant wild flowers

intoxication
gale-force winds are blowing
no direction home
