Haiku Heaven Poem by Richard Walker

Haiku Heaven

Rating: 4.2

Beauty's sad sad truth
A fading newborn flower
Colors Heaven's roof

The invisible deer
Thrive in wooded regions
Sparkling to my eye

Rose touches cheek
Like flute overpowers lip
Of tomorrow's child

Nonsense seldom true
Brings happiness to pine trees
Swaying in the breeze

Sprouting buds of Spring
Leftovers of things reborn
Shape the noise of Love

Dance butterfly wings
Seize control of destiny
Never fly backward

Green grass lifts my thoughts
To the sky pointing upward
Meeting raindrops there
