Elizabeth Kurian 'Mona'

Haikus - Poem by Elizabeth Kurian 'Mona'

Every writer hopes
That his words will outlive him
How many succeed?

Some moments preserved
In Time's refrigerator
Can never be thawed

The pleasant journeys
From reality to dreams
Ticket-less travel

Book of memories
Yellow with passage of time
Earmarked here and there

Words flirt with poets
They have oft to be cajoled
Before they are won

Beautiful words...flirtatiously cajoled to express strong thoughts. Nice ones. Thanks. (Report) Reply
