Haikus Poem by Elizabeth Kurian

Haikus

Every writer hopes
That his words will outlive him
How many succeed?

**

Some moments preserved
In Time's refrigerator
Can never be thawed

**

The pleasant journeys
From reality to dreams
Ticket-less travel

**

Book of memories
Yellow with passage of time
Earmarked here and there

**

Words flirt with poets
They have oft to be cajoled
Before they are won

Beautiful words...flirtatiously cajoled to express strong thoughts. Nice ones. Thanks.
