Haiti is not poor
Haiti is broke
Haiti is not broken
Haiti got robbed big time
That's a heinous crime
Haiti got jerked off, taken
Advantage of.They broke
The doors. They even took
The coffers with them
Oh, God! This is hell! Damn!

Damn! Haiti got robbed again
By her own children
By the guests, and the foster children
Haiti is no longer the heaven
For the children of Dessalines
Haiti is no longer a heaven
A refuge, which is inviting and clean
Haiti is not poor. Haiti is broke
Haiti is hurt. Haiti got smocked
Haiti is not broken. Haiti is shocked
Haiti got jerked. Haiti got jacked
Haiti got mocked. Haiti is marked
Haiti got shot. Haiti is wounded
But Haiti will survive again, again
Haiti will bleed, but will regain
Consciousness. Haiti is divided
But will unite and rejuvenate
And Haiti will control her own fate.
