Haiti Is Desperate For Good Leadership Poem by Hebert Logerie

Haiti needs effective and efficacious governments
Haiti needs a capable and honest president
Haiti needs efficient senior managers
Haiti does not need villainous senators
Haiti needs skilled and intelligent leaders
Haiti doesn't need a pedantic madman
Haiti needs loyal and decent citizens
Haiti doesn't need a vile and abhorrent leech
That sucks to the bone day and night
Haiti needs more people who can read and write
Haiti doesn't need crooked or rotten congressmen
Haiti needs an unblemished parliament
That does NOT steal, cheat and loot
Haiti needs citizens who love Haiti and peace
Haiti needs lucid and strong Haitians, not bad leaders
Who fight like nefarious hyenas, like wild dogs
Haiti needs brave, sophisticated and proud citizens
Haiti doesn't need evil gargantuans or vicious lions
Tell me, countrymen, if I have omitted or forgotten a few things
Or at least, if I've exaggerated? In truth, that's simply an intermission.
