Haiti Is Rich And Poor Poem by Hebert Logerie

Haiti is rich because of her humongous resources,
And beauty. Haiti is poor because of being constantly
Raped, ripped off by her so-called racist friends of Haiti
By her sons daughters, and a few mad predatory bosses.

No need to give you a lengthy detail or an elongated history
Of her pilgrimage. Haiti and children have been ostracized
Exploited, castrated, humiliated, vilipended, dehumanized
And discriminated for a very long time. Haiti is a cacophony.

Haiti is a dark honey, a paradise for opportunistic foreigners.
Haiti's beauty is incomparable despite years of hell, neglect
Looting, slavery, unnecessary insults by duplicitous investors.

Haiti can no longer sustain the innumerable abuses and disrespect.
The day of oppression will be over soon because an eventual evolution
Will occur. The spirit of her ancestors will soon cause a massive eruption.
