Hallucination Poem by Sandra Feldman

Hallucination

Sometimes, one writes
Like in a trance,
Without fully knowing
What is happening,
Like with Love
You feel it in your heart
But there is no explanation
For this most wonderful
Many times, painful
Out of reach,
Impossible love
Sensation.

Poetry you can grasp,
But love, sometimes
Is much more a type
Of unattainably sad,
Hallucination.

Are the hallucinations we see merely clowns in the sea. Smirking and laughing as they surf the waves.I like the contrasts in this poem.
