Happiness Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Happiness

Happy people may not have the best of everything
but they make the most of what they already possess
If their house is small and cramped they call it cozy
Some may think they are poor… but they feel blessed

Their lives may not be a beautiful fairy tale come true
Days may be filled with problems of great magnitude
In the night...it is faith that gives them strength to continue
People who make ends meet share thankful gratitude

For those with commitment… there is hope for tomorrow
Little by little their situation improves…while maintaining
tiny steps forward… they advance towards success…
A happy life is one that is absent of constant complaining
