Happy Birthday Poem by The runner who hides

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday 5-28-08
Dedicated to: My mom
A day to Celebrate
The day you came into this crazy and chaotic world
Your not here on Earth but There’s still Birthdays in Heaven

Happy birthday mom
Until the day I die
You’ll grow older

You’ll grow older and wiser with every Breath I take
Every Move I make
You’re now Thirty-nine

Freak out Next year’s the big forty
Your Kids are Growing and becoming Stronger
Were getting older and wiser with every Breath we take

Holden now seventeen
Punky brooster now fifteen
Monster mash turning twelve in August

As The days go bye
You’re on my Mind
Today Is your Birthday

Happy thirty ninth
Happy Birthday
Two words I took for Granted
Until I realized I would never be able to say them to you again in person anyway

I used to think when people went to heaven they stayed that age forever
Well not you, as long as I Breathe So do you
When the worlds changing happy Birthday will stay happy birthday

You’re still growing even though your body has died
It’s been turned into ashes but not your mind
Your mind and spirit live on
Trying to pick me up when I’m down
You’re always around

I never thought you’d die as young as you were
But Life sucks
It’s so unfair
Our time cut short
I miss you Mom
You will live on
Happy Birthday
