Happy Birthday To Kim-Mai 2017 Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

The spring has been here more than a month
There are only two more days before the first of May.
Since the day and year that you were born
The sun has been rising and setting many thousand times.
On this special occasion that friends visit on the week end
We celebrate your birthday two days earlier.
At the crack of dawn, drizzling mists filled the air
Then the sky became much clearer when the bright sun appeared.
This year our tulips bloomed much earlier
Now tulip petals are dropping and yard trees covered with green canopies.
Dogwood blossoms are blooming beautifully
Their pink flowers and white flowers smile to Spring breeze.
For your celebration, our Koi fish swim happily in circles
And Azaleas show their flamboyant red near the Koi pond.
Rose garden begins to show their young flower buds
Bees and butterflies will gather here for their feasts after few more weeks.
I wish you a very happy Birthday
I wish you many happy days to come.

MỪNG SINH NHẬT KIM-MAI 2017

Mùa Xuân hơn tháng đã qua
Còn hai ngày nữa là đầu tháng năm.
Từ ngày năm tháng em sanh
Mặt trời lên xuống đã bao ngàn lần.
Cuối tuần bè bạn tới thăm
Mừng em sinh nhật hai ngày sớm hơn.
Bình minh lất phất mưa rơi
Thế rồi trời sáng, mặt trời về thăm.
Năm nay tulip sớm mùa
Cánh hoa đang rụng, lá xanh đầy vườn.
Dương đào bông rất đẹp tươi
Cáng hồng, cánh trắng mỉm cười gió xuân.
Mừng em, đàn cá bơi quanh
Azaleas huy hoàng trổ bông.
Vườn hồng mới chớm nụ non
Chỉ vài tuân nữa, bướm ong rộn ràng.
Chúc em hạnh phúc hôm nay
Chúc em hạnh phúc những ngày tương lai.
