Happy Father's Day Poem by Leslie Alexis

Father, first God for he is my Father
Above; heavenly, he loves, and provides
His grace, his mercy, his kindness for me.
With his caring arms, He lovingly guides me.
His is the first love that I have known.
It is big, fantastic, perfect and complete.


Earthly father, you try your best and most times
You give your best too, for this I thank you!
You never left, like other dads do,
You showed love to your children and mommy too.
You showed me that a man is to love,
By marrying and staying with his woman.
Your put food on the table, and clothes on out backs
that was never brand, but kept us warm.
You pray with mom to have God opened doors,
Now I walk in the blessings that you started
So Dad, I thank you and, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
