Happy New Year Poem by Ibrahim Farinde

Happy New Year

Rating: 5.0

HAPPY NEW YEAR
I heard Ding! Ding! ! Ding! ! !
It was a loud sound,
The bell from the tower sings into my ear,
I jumped up from my sleep,
At first I was afraid,
I looked everywhere,
I couldn't see anyone,
Everywhere was deserted,
I became more afraid; fear gripped my heart,
My whole body crack like am being tortured,
The bell sounds Ding! Again,
I thought it was the end of the world,
I thought I was left alone for my sins,
I was sober and went down to the ground,
Suddenly!
I felt the ground coming towards me,
Heavy wind passing through,
From afar I heard these sonorous sounds and songs,
Not for long,
There was this outburst of people with joy and happiness,
I was confused and confused,
The bell from the tower sounded Ding! Again but this time, once!
I was still confused when someone held my hands and said to me,
It was time,
I asked, time for what?
Then, everyone shouted,
Happy New Year,
It was then I looked at the time on the tower,
I became relieved that
It was a cross-over,
It's a new year,
It's a new dawn,
It's a new world,
It's a new resolution,
It's another new beginning,
Happy New Year it was.

'There was this outburst of people with joy and happiness, I was confused and confused, The bell from the tower sounded Ding! Again but this time, once! ' New Year can have a habit of suddenly seeming to skip a few minutes then arrive sometimes unexpectedly, a nice cross over in the confusion, well written.
