My African Queen Poem by Ibrahim Farinde

My African Queen

Rating: 5.0

Indeed! My African queen
An epitome of celestial beauty
Her eyes glows like that of Oris
Her smiles brighten my heart like a box filled with pearl
From afar, she's an angel
Nearer, she's a goddess
She is a tenet of irresistible nature
Her solemn contralto voice is the spiritual of the beloved
My heart hearkens to have you
My eyes cannot deny your adored figure
People say the road to heaven is narrow
If only I can rig my way into your promise land
Clear the bush of obstacle with my heavenly rod
And the gates to paradise shall open
Then your sweet lips shall give a glamorous sound
Indeed! You are my African queen.
