Harassments Have Given Me Strength Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Harassments Have Given Me Strength

You can call me anything you like.
But guess who is responsible,
For the removal of my obstacles?
And guess who has known that...
Long before you came along,
To voice opinions to set traps upon my path.

And guess who listens...
As I continue on my way?
I'll leave you with that thought.
Since my yearning,
Does not depend upon your response.

You can call me anything you like.
You do not cast any light on my journey!
I have been well prepared to endure hecklers.
And harassments have given me strength.
So there is something you provide that enlightens.
