I think of you so often
More then you'll ever know
I'm sitting here wondering
Why it is you had to go

You said you needed time
To figure things out
So in your mind
When it came to us there were doubts

Was it something that I said
Was it something that I did
Please won't you tell me
So I can clear my head

Was it the way I treated you
Or was it something else
Please tell me what it is
So I know how you felt

You say it's nothing that I did
It was nothing that I said
Then will you please explain to me
Why to you our love is dead?
