Haunted Poem by Alicia Meyers

Haunted

Flames of fire burns within my soul,
It creates a gap that is now a black hole,
Burning within my character,
Will drive me crazy forever.

I see seconds of sunlight,
Nothing more than the darkness of night,
Those flames that burns inside,
Is closing in on me and there's nowhere to hide.

Inside a round secure flame,
Making myself such a blame,
For trying to save myself from this nightmare,
It's sad that nobody else cares.

I'm inside my own dream,
Nobody else here but me,
And when the night says goodbye,
My nightmare doesn't and I don't know why.

Their fired flames haunt me,
Like an unwanted retention haunts the one's memories,
It frightens me to death,
As if inside my nightmare I would give my last breath.

Flames of fire burns within my heart,
A black hole that is being torn apart,
I now know that forever I will be taunted,
Inside these nightmares that forever will be haunted.
