Gravity. Poem by Alicia Meyers

Gravity.

Rating: 4.0

I'm trying to hold,
Onto you,
Since there's no gravity,
To hold on to.
I'm flying in the air,
Like I'm in outer space,
Not on the ground,
I feel like this is a race.
Did you honestly think -
That I would hate you?
When you left me to believe -
That you didn't tell me the truth?
You said I was beautiful,
I was your only one,
Now I'm broken,
And getting burned by the sun.
Every breath I take,
Reminds me of you,
Because we were always together,
And now I covered the truth.
You never liked me,
You made me sad,
Now I see you with her,
It makes me mad.
Madder than anything,
Madder than ever,
I can't believe,
That I was a believer.
