Haunted Rooms Poem by Patti Masterman

Haunted Rooms

Rating: 5.0

Haunted rooms-
But I'm the ghost
Who has forgot
What loved the most.

The twinkling eye,
The startled laugh;
Recognition,
When we passed.

Too soon I'll be
Among them too-
Forgotten ghost
That you once knew.

Such pathos, The truth that delivers the melancholy... very good poetry.
