Have I Pushed You So Far[i Need You] Poem by Gabriella Franco

Have I Pushed You So Far[i Need You]

Have I pushed you so far
You finally agree with me?
Have I made it so overcast
That you really cant see

I need you
More than lungs need breath
I need you
More than birds need air
I need you
More than a black rose in bloom
You’re rare to me
And I need you

Have I pushed you so far
That I made you believe me?
Have I really, made my lie
Fabricated the convincing

I need you
More than I need to obey
I need you
More than lions need to prey
I need you
More than my heart needs to beat
I need you.
More than blood in my veins.
I need you

I’m sorry That I convinced myself
You weren’t right for me
It’s only for our good
I want more. Just like you.

I want more. But I NEED you.
