Have You Ever? Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Have You Ever?

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever witnessed?
Fall of leaves on ground
How painful the separation might be
Leaving behind long association from the tree

Nothing can be changed
Not everything can be easily managed
Life is not cruel
But we need to feel well

If sea is that deep
How can I measure and keep distance?
My fancy is to touch bottom
And that can happen seldom

My home can be simple hut
Made of straws and roots
But that shall guarantee me
Liberty and freedom for free

If I can give my smile
To a needy for a while
That shall serve purpose
For humanity, it shall be of great use

I shall paint each line on canvass
Just a smile with easy pass
Just for others to guess
Search for its real trace

I can think of birds
So they look always forward
Flu with weak wings
And joyfully sing

Stars can have their role
They can provide twinkle's note
If I can not be moon
But certainly help soon

Bubbles always remind of trouble
As I long for and struggle
It is my desperate search
Life is there to teach

My mind is open like sky
I never question or ask why
If it is to be my fate
I shall think over and clearly state

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

imagery was great, message hard to understand... Dan SwabLess than a minute ago great imagery and vocabulary. however, sometimes i feel your message was weakened by your choice of words. for example 'if i can not be moon, but certainly help soon' i didn't understand what you meant. other stanzas were great, such as the one about building a hut, to have liberty and freedom. great vocabulary which painted a picture in my head... i didn't understand some of your wording though Comment 1 Comment+1 Hasmukh MehtaLess than a minute ago it is little silent but meaning that i can provide silver light n coolness
