Hawk Watching Spring Chicken Poem by Dorsey Baker

Hawk Watching Spring Chicken

Rating: 5.0

That old hawk starts to
Watch that spring chicken
It looks good to him
Something moving!
Attracts his attention also
Something belonging
To that spring chicken!
His eyes start to get bigger
His blood becomes
Boiling hot!
As he watches that spring chicken
From afar
His tail starts to wag!
That old hawk has turned himself
Into a dog!
