He Sleeps Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

He Sleeps

He lives in peace,
In his grave he sleeps in bliss,
Eternal relief from pain, anxiety, sorrow and suffering of the earthly life.
Life was so much miserable for him when he was alive,
Just like living death,
Not for a moment he savoured peaceand happiness during that time.
Now being dead, he sleeps calmly in his grave,
Far away from the ruthless clutches of the living world.
"Live peacefully in your new world, dear friend!
No one will disturb you."
I pray to the God solemnly and wholeheartedly.
