Heal Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

Heal

Rating: 5.0

Everything you say, I take to heart,
And I feel like I'm falling apart,
But I wish I could make you understand
I feel like I'm drowning in quicksand.

And it has nothing to do with you,
Or your idea of the truth.
I just feel like everything is spinning too fast
And you're about to put me on blast.

I have nowhere to go, nowhere to hide,
Except trapped inside my own mind.
Maybe if I could make you see how this feels,
You would give me some time to heal.
