For the healing of our heart,
For the betterment of our body,
For the solace of our soul,
There is no more excellent elixir
No more potent pills, than
A daily dose of passion and poetry;
A marvelous message,
A roaring rhyme
An inkling of inspiration;
A magnificent metaphor;
A soulful softness
An expression of ecstasy
An exquisite emotion
I need passion and poetry.
