Heartbreak In Acoustic Poem by SJ. Sharkey

Heartbreak In Acoustic

Falling six feet under and no tears that I cry make me feel alright
I don’t have the strength to fight
I’ll bite my tongue so my mouth fills up with blood
‘Cause you said you’d keep that promise but I knew you never would

Set this site on fire and we’ll burn all the words
Burn all the words that use my memory as a mistake
That I made a lesson I had to learn
I’ll bite my tongue so my mouth fills up with bood
‘Cause I’d like to say I cared but I knew I never could
