Heavy steps

All eyes are set
She is not late
She has perfect news
She has only two members

That bad memory rushes
When news rushes
Giving all sad account
Her family had serious accident

Only two sons were at home
As they had not gone along with them
How bravely she could take control?
The dead bodies were given farewell

"No, no, I shall not be defeated"
I had uttered
It was difficult to render solace to children
But now so many years have gone by

At one moment her heart skips
Yet her old eyes keep
Close watch at door
She hears heavy footsteps on floor
