Hello #2 Poem by Gulliver Gimble

Hello #2

And I ask
Do you know the poem?
Have you seen the lines?
Would you even understand?
What was I saying?
Was it for your misguided eyes?
Silence calls no names.
All I ever wanted was for you to say hello more often.
Now, hello's can't even be bought, sold or traded.
Who will make the first attempt?
Who has always made the first attempt?
My slow life is getting busy.
I understand now, not really.
I make time.
To start a fire and send smoke signals.
Type on the keyboard-H-e-l-l-o.
Punch down keys on the phone.
Write it in the sky.
Scream it alone at night.
To whom ever this concerns.
Once again.
Hello.
