Hello Goodbye Poem by CHARMAINE SIMPSON

Hello Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

Missing you -
The ache has become a permanent fixture.
Then we say hello -
Then we say goodbye -
Like a rollercoaster we climb to the highs,
filled with anticipation and excitement,
longing for our short moments,
which feel as momentary as the pause -
just before the gut wrenching decent,
to the ever present bottom of the hill.
