Help For The Asking Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Help For The Asking

Rating: 5.0

You could move
The world my friend
Why did you have
To go that way.

Every word you uttered
Made everyone laugh
As you held deep inside
A volcano of agony.

With hope you filled
Many a depressed soul
While you fell a victim
To a stroke of despair.

You knew always that
This life's to be lived
Filling it with optimism
While making others laugh.

Everyone needs help
Help's there for the asking
Ask without hesitation
Help'll be on its way.

Thoughtful poem from your pen. Very true said, the people who make others laugh often have pain deep inside. They never show it ever. One will feel how cheerful they are. This happened with many people. All this is because they feel bitter loneliness. Which definitely forces them to take drastic steps. Many poets and writers we have come across, suffered from depression. Very true said, everyone needs help, but sometimes one may feel, no one can help to overcome their loneliness. Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing with us.

I feel the reference is to Robin Williams who succumbed to depression... While keeping a volcano within, he made the world laugh! Why people refuse to ask for help in such helpless state of mind...! A moving write!
