Milton's 'May' is of renewal,
Blesses sun's stoked fuel.
Well may May-north warmth inspire,
May-south brings wintry rants:
Hibernate your skimpy wardrobe,
Get out your beanie, where's my pants?
THIS was a bit tricky for me to follow, but i did. I'd type where're my pants, but this PC does underline where're (in red) for some reason. i don't care! The word pants is another tricky thing to think about, as it ends in s whether i'm speaking of one pair of pants/one piece of clothing or more than one pair'/piece. ain't language strange sometimes! ! ? to MyPoemList, but not showcase material 'cause i think if I HAVE TROUBLE WITH IT, many others might also! bri :)
I know and like Milton's ' Song on May Morning' also. What a difference in weather between north and south in May. A subtle touch of humour in wondering where your trousers are.
