Henceforth Poem by Douglas Scotney

After this good Friday the 5th of June,2015,
like Jesus' death observance,
my birthday's
will be committed to a Friday.

Next year, being a leap,
the 5th will miss the Saturday altogether,
and be on the Sunday,
so my observance will be on the 3rd;

the year after that, on the 2nd;
and in 2018 on the 8th,
time being shorter between the 5th and that
than between the 5 and the 1.

In 2019, observance will be on the 7th.
It will never occur on the 1st or in May,
or on the 9th or 10th or 11th;
and in 2020, a leap, the 5th will again be Friday.
