Her dreams came from a luxury
enamelled in her heart
like diamonds spread in front of me
each one a work of art
to choose would be a sacrifice
to all that she had said
I fashioned them into a crown
and placed it on her head.
like diamonds spread in front of me each one a work of art, THIS IS A GREAT LINE..
Must have been some lovely dreams. Well done with care Patricia

You know what I like about your poems, Charlie - they are crisp and clear and uncomplicated - a pleasant enjoyment for the reader! I hate having to read and reread and still wonder what a poem is about. Yours are a treasure! Linda
