Her Loss Poem by Randy McClave

Her Loss

Today she lost her dad
For her I feel very sad,
As I remember when I lost my own father
My soul it did truly bother.
She truly idolized him
As a church choir sings a hymn,
She wanted to be as he was
Respected, trusted and loved.
She lost her very best friend
So, condolences to her I do send,
Because, I too know the pain and cost
When my own father I had lost.
