Her Own Axies Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Her Own Axies

Rating: 5.0

The earth rotates on its own axis
It has some theory behind or thesis
Scientists have proved it beyond doubt
There remains nothing to talk about

It may have many reasons to support
But as mother, I have only one destination and port
The ship has already anchored safely
I have reason to breathe happily

Whole of world is around me and my children
That gives me real joy when they are not near even
The thought about their being with me is enough
I have every reason to feel happy and make laugh

All mothers of world are of same brand and nature
They find nothing in children except bright future
The sun may rise or not but children may make her day
Hardship or no hardship, she has to feel it in same way

Modern, poor, rich or working class woman
They are extra ordinary and simply act as human
Their own interest comes as secondary object
They love to die for new born with known fact

We are all aware of such beautiful world
Where mother has special position to hold
At no place they are reminded about the role or told
It is their inherent feeling and we all feel secured in that fold

If women had only one role as mother
Who could go against her wish and tend to differ?
Cruelty and other things pinch our heart
As she is the only one soul to be missed as real part

Lots of praises have been showered
Even words spoken may not have same intensity to have answered
It is mere recognition that stands good all the times
We are all committed to honor but falter sometimes
