Her Sleep Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Her Sleep

Her sleep

In bed she laid, but not I
Blink-less I stared, not to fall
Taken into dreams with two eyes
Eyelids were closed and iris, hiding her.

I found me other ways for finding
The depth of our love and our liking
I sat, looking and looking till ending…

A poem in my mind; "Her sleep! "

Shivered forest of maples and cedars
Carried influence of a hole, macular.

With every inhale and each exhale…
Her breast kept secret, was silent
No sign of her thoughts, nor her mind.

Amused with twigs I sat, watched
Comforted, relaxed and angular
Happily, joyful I observed.

Twigs of eyelashes intertwined
Made great miracle of her eyes
Amused I was until, fell asleep.
