Her Voice Inhabits My Mind Poem by Aiden Florence

Her Voice Inhabits My Mind

Rating: 5.0

It seems like only yesterday that we’ve met
It felt like just the beginning when our time ended
Now I can’t get myself straight without you aside

It was only a few days back
That we crossed our lives with an exchange of ‘I Do’
As I retrace time
I can almost hear her voice echoing inside my head
Embracing what we had as something more than broad love

Now that it’s over what am I suppose to do?
Should I reaim my love towards you,
Or put down my arrow?
Your voice keeps echoing
I can’t get you out of my head,
I can’t get you out of my head
Because you're still in my heart

I know you’re still listening
Can you hear me?
These are my final words to you
It took me so long to realize,
That I still love you

It's really fascinating how the voice of a person we care about continue to echo in our mind. I like the word you used... inhabit.
