Here In Heaven Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Here In Heaven

Here in Heaven, ole Rock of ages
A dark existence close, has gone away
Sorrow meant long since the way forgotten
Oh, heart weary profess thy oldest name

Love eternal bargains nae or ever
A shining star will light this passageway
Instilled is life and here thereafter
Take flight and flee this holy place

Life, by the challenge, in silence wakes
Circumstance for needs, a yearning desire
Burning in Hell for one 'example'
Whence love is, is always 'pain

Here in Heaven faults the prime beginning
Saintly spirits wish for eternal gains
They who seek have found no glory
Take a number until the end of days

Once forever, lost' begin the echoes
Eternity narrowly a lifetime away
Wishes for prayers issued from the darkness
Flow through open gates for all heaven's saved
