Hero Poem by Dawn Novus

Hero

Rating: 5.0

Tell me when will it be love

Will you spare my heart from the missing of you

Could you sever the knott bound from a bond not at all ordinary

Altogether extraordinary

Look into my eyes and tell me you feel no love

Convince me with stare unblinking and wide

Be the name on my lips when my hero cape is all in tattered remains

Kiss me sweetly and do not say goodbye

Say that forever you will stand by my side

Say that before I take your breath away inside

Will you take me by the hand and ask me to dance under the midnight sun

Until all is said n unsaid...
Until all is done n undone...

Will you be the hero for me when my own cape is but ribbons in the rain

Very convincing as a look at a boyfriend hero.

Honoring your Hero of hero's; staying true by their side. as they age. Even as their cape now hangs in the closet; worn, frail and torn. Dawn thanks, another great poem.
