Hidden Never To Be Disguised Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Hidden Never To Be Disguised

When people seek equality,
From demons who teach...
How best to inflict evil misdeeds.
With a doing to lie, cheat and deceive.
Then to expect remorse from them expressed.
After imitating a wickedness,
Taught to teach.
And follow blindly behind,
Such kind of footsteps.

When people choose unconsciously,
To abandoned their dignity.
Self respect and identity.
For acceptance to get,
And impressions to make.
Already they have created,
Their own reflected image to despise and hate.

The comes the day,
They awaken with clear and opened wide eyes.
To view and see the activities of demons.
Hidden never to be disguised.
That an equality wished,
They received to get with selfishness.
Just to impress those less unfortunate.
With a doing to themselves,
A charading to parade pretensions made.
But at whose benefit has progress decayed!

People achieve their academic degrees.
Believing themselves above others to leave.
Only to discover a doing to each other.
Then expect what they have been taught to do,
To find a way to undo...
Too late to remove an equality found,
Left to abuse themselves.
In conflict, division and confusion.
Although...
For decades this is what they wished.
With a learning taught from the demons to get.

"What do we want? "

-JUSTICE! -

"And, when do we want it? "

-NOW! -

Today...
They are screaming for 'JUSTICE'.
Yesterday...
It was 'EQUALITY'.
What will they want tomorrow?
A restoration of their self respect.
Neglected dignity and identity,
They chose to abandoned.
With no discipline and truth refused to get.
God?
Please help us all,
At least to make an attempt...
To normalize this craze to make sense.
Only YOU...
The Highest of all that is legitimately HIGH,
Can undo this man-made mess!
