Hideaway - Poem by Annie Velasquez

I'm hiding now, trying to rest
From whom or what, I haven't a guess
Just know that I don't really want to be seen
Just need my space, I'm not being mean.

Alone In this house, still here I reside
Locked in the cupboard, content to hide

Topic(s) of this poem: alone, safety

We all need that alone time, the space to regroup in, find our place in time and regain our peace of mind. Excellent writing. Love your style! 10++++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn (Report) Reply
