His Arrival
The night falls across the land
Slowly as a dream to the sleeping eyes
Bearing the load of heavy wings
Birds in groups towards their nests fly
Sitting in the stairs she waits
With a heavy heart her lover to return
With aching limbs from fields
Where to since the morning he has gone
in the songs of skylark the clouds falling as petals on the path of coming love....
