His Humble Presence Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

His Humble Presence

Many've lied
And in death've died
Now that we know, heaven's no door
Rather the pearly gates tha' glow

With science seek they His dwellings
Yet in His word has He His spellings
In the heart of the believer He abodes
And the Church, the Bride, He adorns

The sheol's a place of silence
Therein, satan works not; he has no clients
It's with the living tha' he contends
In love and care, he pretends

Many've lied
And in death've died
Now that we know, heaven's no door
Rather the pearly gates tha' glow
