Because I couldn't go to Him,
in His love, He came to me;
in His mercy and compassion,
in His truth, I was set free.
In His everlasting kindness,
He forgave my broken heart;
and with His faithful others,
in His grace, was set apart.
Because my ways were ignorant,
His knowledge filled my mind;
casting out the sinful wrongs,
gave to me, the rightful kind.
How great the loving Father is,
to the few that hear His call;
to those that change their path,
following their misguided fall.
Because I couldn't go to Him,
in His love, He came to me;
unplugging my unhearing ears,
removed the veil so I could see.
