His Misadventure Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

His Misadventure

Rating: 5.0

He rushed towards me to cause the damage
His body was completely shaking in rage
I could notice uncontrollable movement in his chase
He lowered his fist to deliver the blow on face

I was amazed at sudden development
I was taken back when saw his movement
He may be driven by external situation
I failed to grasp reason for such an outrageous continuation

He stopped at little short of distance
I thought it might hit with force at once
But it did not strike too much of my surprise
At last moment he might have thought to devise

He was perturbed at my coolness
I was not here to oppose or make wild chase
Neither had I plan to ask for any clarification
Not shown gesture with any kind of inclination

I could well judge his temperament
He was by and large very adamant
Some drawbacks with his nature of dealing
I had no grudge for his feeling

He lost his control and felled on the ground
Uttered few words which seemed really sound
He had immediately sensed some danger
He tried to cool down and recovered from anger

I offered water and moved hand on his back
He was almost in tears with lot more things at stake
He felt shame and looked down with remorse
I tried to assuage his feelings and applied no force

Someone had planed him on me to score the level
But things proved contrary and did not go well
He had gathered enough of strength to malign
At an eleventh hour he failed in his attempt to align

I took no notice of his misadventure
But only advised him to be accurate and sure
Anything will misfire if lacked truth in intent
There is no other way left than to repent

Nice peace of work, the way the person with the point of view handled the situation very well was indeed a very friendly thing to do. It really reminds readers to believe in facts and not in gossips with no proof, and to feel sorry when they are ones who are wrong. Nicely written!
