His Presence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Who will believe I am non-atheist?
Lack proper knowledge to understand and trust
Everything is available in plenty and around
Why don't I have the vision to find?

Garden booms with flowers
It has all happened after rainy showers
No one ever noticed or taken note
Only poets and writers wrote

I felt fragrance and sweet smell
Just gentle wind came near to tell
Oh, nice how good was it to feel!
Nature is present everywhere still

I still refuse to believe existence of mild air
Is it not foolish on my part or unfair?
What makes me to disbelieve that is around!
So nice and beautiful things are always found

I heard cuckoos voice in morning
With little breeze on ground it was warning
Come on, wake up it is high time
Love is the only way sometimes

Everybody is prepared to rise
Nothing is there to surprise
Everything happens as usual
Only we take it as casual

Now I got the solid reason to discard my feeling
Even God has willingly provided everything
I needed to develop some sense to recognize existence
He was everywhere to remind me of presence

I thanked almighty for my helping me out
As I was unnecessarily inviting rout
What was the reason to deny nature's company?
I was not alone in this world to feel but was felt by many
