Hold On Poem by Balint Nagy

Hold On

Now, as the evil me come to life
And my heart's barely still alive
Give me something to believe:
"Show me where forever dies"
"Across this new divide"

All we've lived and died:
Leave it all behind

You consumed the dark inside
And led me to the light
Then I watched my world collide
All has faded in front of my eyes
But I turned the tide
I'll still chase the dreams of mine
Hold on, hold on
I will keep you here alive
Inside my heart

Where's the rebel from within?
A passionless era now begins
My soul's sensitive no longer
Seems like I'm growing colder

So,

All we've lived and died:
Leave it all behind

You consumed the dark inside
And led me to the light
Then I watched my world collide
All has faded in front of my eyes
But I turned the tide
I'll still chase the dreams of mine
Hold on, hold on
I will keep you here alive
Inside my heart

Sober and silent,
Breaking the violence,
Never surrender,
Forget to remember

All has faded in front of my eyes
But I turned the tide
I'll still chase the dreams of mine
Hold on, hold on
I will keep you here alive
Inside my heart
