Holy Incognito Poem by Ima Ryma

The Bible tells us Jesus would
Oft appear incognito to
Test if faithful were truly good.
Acting a stranger, Jesus knew
If his teachings were taking hold.
He would come forward in disguise,
Sometimes young, sometimes vey old.
None he came to would recognize
At the moment that it was he.
Oft this stranger was treated well.
But some treated him quite badly,
Jesus blamed Satan's hold from hell.

Oft when a stranger does appear,
I wonder is this Jesus here?
