Holy Land Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Holy Land

O, Allah, an almighty
You graced us beautifully
Allowed holy land
To live and befriend

You said nothing about hate
As it was not matter to state
But to avoid its use
And for the evil tor effuse

No one stops prayers being offered
Sincerely adopted simplicity and followed
True Islam speaks of holy and pure behavior
Respect to fellow men and women

What does the Ramadan offer?
Whole month of fasting with prayers
With total devotion to religious practice
And surrender to God with no choice

It is H who shall protect
Take us to His fold in fact
Bring all cheers and smiles
When we follow in principle and file

Holy Land
