Homeless Boyz And Prostitutes Poem by Young Church Poetry

Homeless Boyz And Prostitutes

Rating: 5.0

Homeless boys and prostitutes of
the city of Maseru.
We think we are far better than them.
They do take care of each other.
When we can't even take care of
our own families.
When we leaders cannot take care of
our own countries.
When we fancy civilians cannot take care of
each other's victories.

Homeless boys and prostitutes of
the city of Maseru.
We think we are far better than them.
They share laughter late at night,
when we share cold faces at night.
When we even share sleepless nights.
They are not like churches which
cannot even share the word of God.
They share all the troubles we cause them.
They share them as jokes late at night.

Homeless boys and prostitutes of
the city of Maseru.
We think we are far better than them.
They treat each other as equals,
When we are busy worshiping other people.
When we are busy worshiping other individuals.
No one greater than the other in their small world.
When our lifeless precious stones boost our egos.
The breath of the Almighty lives in them.
The breath of the Almighty lives in you.

For many of such people, their misbehavior are violent expressions of their anger and ignorance much more than economic measures for survival. Deep in their heart is a place for God and a desire to please Him... God bless you again and again
